  • Weekly 45-minute class

  • Designed to prepare students for theory exams given by Certificate of Merit and The Royal Conservatory Programs.

  • Students do not need to be enrolled at Inspire Academy of Music and Arts to take this class.

  • The student will develop the ability to recognize, understand and describe the basic materials and processes of music that are heard or presented in a music score.

  • Curriculum includes addressing fundamental, aural, analytical and compositional skills using both listening and written exercises.
